OVERVIEW
As part of the promotion for the festival season the Ticketmaster UK marketing team commissioned an in-house campaign to drive traffic to its Festival Guide landing page and engage users via editorial content on the blog. The landing page was a central hub that allowed users to browse all festivals by region and music tastes. In order to capitalise and promote the vast offerings available, the campaign objective was to aid users in a humorous way identify which festival to go to by identifying what type of festival goer they were.
ROLE: ART DIRECTION, ILLUSTRATION, VISUAL DESIGN
DELIVERY: CAMPAIGN IDENTITY, ILLUSTRATIONS, LANDING PAGE DESIGN
CAMPAIGN LANDING PAGE
The quiz was in the format of a web app with eight questions, which would pre-filter a list of recommended festivals based on the character the user ended on. This final character landing page, contained a brief description of the character with illustration, links to official festival websites, ticket purchases, other recommended festivals and white label digital spaces for sponsorship and advertising. The quiz was hosted on the Ticketmaster blog site and due to the CMS restrictions, my role was to support delivery on all campaign assets with recommendations on best practises, processes and seamless integration with in-house systems.
RESPONSIVE VISUAL DESIGN
Due to the limitations of the Ticketmaster UK blog site not being responsive, the experience was not optimised for viewing on mobile or tablet devices. Below is an alternate concept I worked on for the design and interface incorporating a bright colour palette and a user friendly experience which was more inline with an app experience over a static page.
